Isla Fisher starred alongside many comedy legends in the past, but she’s taking things to a new level in  Greed . The star of  Wedding Crashers just joined this promising project, which features a couple of equally hilarious cast members. Greed  was described as a satirical take on the world of the super-rich, focusing on a ruthless, perma-tanned and self-absorbed retail clothing billionaire. “THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL“ LEADS THE WAY AT THE 2018 EMMY AWARDS

This year’s Emmy ceremony was filled with dozens of amazing moments, but absolute domination of  The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel  was the one that took everyone by surprise. Amazon’s series about a 1950s housewife who turns to stand-up comedy took home five shinny statues, including the Emmy for best comedy series. Game of Thrones scored big win in the best drama category, for the third time in the past four years. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel  came out victorious in almost all of the categories it was nominated in last night. Rachel Brosnahan and Alex Borstein picked up awards for best lead and supporting actress in a comedy series. Showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino received Emmys for both directing and writing the pilot of this hilarious period piece. The masterminds behind  The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story  also had a reason to celebrate.
