CARDI B AND DRAKE TOP 2018 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS NOMINATIONS

American Music Awards are less than a month away, and if you still don’t know who you’re rooting for – now’s the time to make a pick.

The list of nominations just came out and Cardi B and Drake are leading the way, with eight nominations each.

These two artists are having the most amazing year ever, and it’s impossible to think of a music awards ceremony where they weren’t present.

Cardi B and Drake will go head to head in several categories at the American Music Awards this year, including Video of the Year and Favorite Hip-Hop Artist.

Ed Sheeran and Post Malone are right behind them, with six nominations each. Both artists will be competing against Drake in the main category – Artist of the Year.

They’ll also have a strong competition in Taylor Swift, who received four nominations thanks to her last studio album Reputation.

The ceremony will take place on October 9 and it will be hosted by the Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross.
